Improving energy efficiency in buildings

If a building has a tendency to be too hot in summer or too cold in winter, then its energy efficiency needs to be reviewed. Investing in insulation, draught proofing, double glazing, and energy efficient lighting and appliances all help to reduce energy consumption and bills. An energy efficient home can use up to 75% less energy than a typical home. Significant improvement can also be gained in commercial buildings.
