The National Action Plan: Regional Assessment Process is designed to help evaluate the conditions required to deliver clean industry projects across regions, sectors, and levels of government. It is structured around a hierarchy of Themes, Categories, and Indicators, known collectively as the Critical Success Criteria.
There are five Themes, broken down into 17 Categories, and a total of 55 Indicators. These indicators define what good looks like and support consistent, evidence-based assessments of regional and sectoral preparedness for clean industry development.
This document (Version 1, May 2025) provides an assessment process for 19 Indicators across five Categories and three Themes. The remainder will be developed and tested with partners through ongoing collaboration. The high-level themes are:
